The company’s net loss came down marginally to Rs 1,249 crore in FY24 from Rs 1,272 crore in the year ago, according to the financial statements of Zepto’s India-based entity sourced from Tofler.
In a LinkedIn post, Zepto cofounder and chief executive Aadit Palicha said, “We expect to continue this growth momentum with a clear path to PAT (profit after tax) profitability in the near term”.
Zepto is set to launch a standalone app for its 10-minute food delivery service Cafe next week, Palicha said in a social media post on Wednesday.
ET reported on November 19 that Zepto is scaling up its cafe business — offering coffee, croissants, and other items — nationwide, with a goal to achieve an annualised revenue run rate (ARR) of Rs 1,000 crore within the next financial year, as per a company statement.
