Wybot came to CES 2025 to introduce its Wybot S3, a robotic pool cleaner that promises to make automated pool cleaning even less taxing on the homeowner. The company says its all-new Wybot S3 can independently clean a pool for an entire month with zero human intervention, allowing you to all but forget about the tedious but essential task.
Wybot says the S3 will map your pool while it’s underwater, which will then enable it to position itself precisely where it needs to be at any given time. During its initial cleaning session, the unit creates a detailed 3D map of the pool, enabling it to design the most efficient cleaning paths. This technology ensures comprehensive coverage of up to 3,229 square feet (300 square meters), tackling the floor, walls, and waterline with precision.
Where many robotic pool cleaners must be pulled out of the water to empty their debris basket and charge their battery, the Wybot S3 features an innovative docking system at the edge of the pool. You position a box near the edge of the pool and drop the docking element over the side into the water. There’s a 10-liter trash bin inside the box, and the top of the box is a solar panel. When the robot climbs the pool’s wall and parks itself on the underwater dock, the box recharges the robot’s battery and empties its debris basket.

This integration allows for a self-cleaning process where the debris collected during cleaning is automatically transferred to the trash bin, eliminating the need for manual intervention. Additionally, the trash bin’s large capacity supports a month’s worth of cleaning cycles, while internal filtration and self-sanitizing systems provide a second layer of dirt removal, improving water quality and reducing maintenance effort.
The Wybot S3 offers eight cleaning modes, allowing owners to tailor operation for specific pool conditions. With dual brushes, ultrasonic sensors, and multi-level filtration, the robot achieves a flow rate of 3,698 gallons per hour powered by three efficient motors. Its robust 7,800mAh battery provides up to three hours of run time, and recharging via the DC charger takes just 3.5 hours. For added convenience, solar panels supplement charging, ensuring uninterrupted operation.
Control and customization are made easy through the Wybot app, which offers both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. Users can set weekly cleaning schedules, monitor real-time updates, and operate the robot remotely for on-demand cleaning sessions.
With its sleek dimensions of 15.7 x 15.4 x 10 inches (399 x 392 x 254 mm) and a suite of advanced features, including a built-in camera for enhanced monitoring, the Wybot S3 represents a new approach to pool care technology.
The Wybot S3 is expected to ship in the second quarter of 2025 and will be priced at $2,999.
