Prime minister Narendra Modi will be the next guest on Nikhil Kamath’s podcast series ‘People By WTF’, according to a new trailer. The Zerodha cofounder had piqued interest online with a teaser featuring a mysterious guest speaking in Hindi. The teaser sparked widespread speculation, with many social media users guessing the guest was none other than PM Modi. Now, Kamath has shared a two-minute trailer for the episode on X with the caption, “People with The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi | Ep 6 Trailer”.

Sharing the trailer of the podcast on his X handle, PM Modi wrote: “I hope you all enjoy this as much as we enjoyed creating it for you!”

The video showcases a candid conversation between Kamath and the prime minister.“I am sitting here in front of you and talking, I feel nervous. It’s a tough conversation for me,” says Kamath in the video, speaking in Hindi. PM Modi responds with a smile, saying: “This is my first podcast, I don’t know how it’ll go with your audience.”

In the trailer, Kamath explains the vision behind the podcast, aiming to explore the intersection of politics and entrepreneurship.

He also asked the Prime Minister about the current state of the world, particularly the wars raging in various regions.

The conversation also reflects on PM Modi’s past speeches as a chief minister.

“I said something in an insensitive way. Mistakes happen. I am human, not a God,” PM Modi shared.

The conversation then turned to PM Modi’s two consecutive terms in office.

Kamath, sharing his own experience, mentioned how politics was viewed negatively during his upbringing.

“Growing up in a South Indian middle-class home, we were always told that politics is a dirty game. This belief is so ingrained in our psyche that it is almost impossible to change it. What is your one advice for people who think the same?” he asked.

PM Modi responded: “If you believed in what you said, we would not be having this conversation.”

The trailer for this episode has already captured the audience’s attention, though the exact release date remains unannounced.

This upcoming episode will mark PM Modi’s debut on a podcast. While he has hosted ‘Mann Ki Baat’ and participated in various television interviews, this will be his first appearance in the podcast format.
