OpenAI CEO Sam Altman unveiled “12 days of OpenAI” that will showcase the AI giant’s new AI tools and products over the next 12 days, starting from December 5. While Altman didn’t specify what these would be, a report by The Verge shared that this would likely include the AI video generator Sora and a new reasoning model.

“Each weekday, we will have a livestream with a launch or demo, some big ones and some stocking stuffers,” Altman noted in the tweet.

The community has been anticipating the release of the full version of the o1 reasoning model which was just teased with a preview earlier in September.

Since then, it has been reported that Google is working on an AI reasoning model. Alibaba too recently introduced a reasoning-focused AI model called Marco-o1.

The AI startup had also teased Sora way back in February. Last week, the text-to-video generator was leaked online by artistes who were testing the tool.
