Revenue from operations in the reporting period rose 24% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 1,875 crore.
The company posted an EBITDA growth of 29% YoY to Rs 104 crore in the reporting quarter, while margins improved 18 bps to 5.5%.
The gross merchandise value (GMV) during the July-September 2024 period clocked 24% YoY growth at Rs 3,652 crore. Segment-wise, the beauty segment revenues rose 24% YoY to Rs 1,703 crore, while that of fashion were up 22% YoY to Rs 166 crore.
The GMV for the beauty segment rose 29% YoY to Rs 2,783 crore in the second quarter. The same for fashion business increased 10% YoY to Rs 863 crore.
Within the beauty business, Nykaa said investment in new customer acquisition is paying off with healthy growth of 31% YoY in the September quarter. The premium fragrance segment in the beauty space grew well ahead of the platform in the reporting period.
