Logitech is releasing a PC accessory that’s very much like the Elgato Stream Deck, except this one isn’t meant for controlling your streams — it’s actually designed for greater control and faster productivity when editing photos, videos, and audio.
As reported by The Verge, this new product is called the MX Creative Console and consists of two devices.
The first device is a keypad with nine dynamic LCD buttons that can launch different apps and perform various actions within each app. Two additional paging buttons allow you to scroll between 15 pages (for a total of 135 actions per app).
The second device is a customizable dial for various scrolling-style actions, whether that’s adjusting brush sizes in Photoshop, scrubbing through timelines in Premiere Pro, or zooming in and out in Lightroom. Four additional buttons around the dial let you perform oft-used functions like undoing your last action.
Logitech has already created custom plugins for Adobe’s most popular apps, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition. With Logitech’s app, you can customize the buttons and pages on a per-app basis.
The Logitech MX Creative Console is now available for pre-ordering in both Pale Grey and Graphite colorways. Priced at $199.99, the purchase also includes three months of Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps. Pre-orders will ship on October 14, 2024.
