Technology-focused venture capital fund Inflexor Ventures has promoted Harsha Mundhada and Murali Krishna Gunturu to the role of partners. The firm, known for backing startups like Atomberg, Entropik, Singularity and Credflow, specialises in seed to series B stages.

Mundhada, who joined the fund in 2016, has led investments in startups such as Atomberg, Chakr, Kale Logistics, A5G and SecureThings.A chartered accountant, she previously worked in the transaction advisory departments of Deloitte, Ernst & Young (EY), and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Similarly, Gunturu, who was the founding member of Inflexor, has also worked with EY. He has led the firm’s investments in PlayShifu, Bellatrix Aerospace, CredFlow, ClickPost, NoPo Nanotechnologies and CloudSek.

These promotions come as Inflexor recently raised Rs 280 crore in the first close of its Rs 350 crore Opportunities Fund, with HDFC Asset Management Company as the lead investor. The firm aims to close this fund by the end of January or early February.

Inflexor is also planning to raise its third blind pool corpus of Rs 1,250 crore in FY26, intending to invest in 25-27 startups with this fund. This will bring the total number of portfolio companies to around 50 within the next five years, according to Gunturu.

“One of the things that these promotions have come up with is that as our portfolio is going to increase in size, each company requires their own adequate attention from a senior member of the team,” Gunturu told ET.Founded by Venkat Vallabhaneni, Jatin Desai and Pratip Mazumdar, Inflexor focuses on deep and emerging technology startups. With over Rs 1,000 crore in assets under management, the firm has invested in 25 companies across sectors like cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and space tech, consumer tech, among others.

In a similar development last year, Kae Capital, another early-stage venture capital firm appointed Abhishek Srivastava, a former executive at Endiya Partners, as a general partner and promoted Gaurav Chaturvedi to the same role. Similarly, Gurugram-based Elevation Capital elevated Vaas Bhaskar and Chirag Chadha as partners, in 2024.
