Google Pay vice president Ambarish Kenghe announced in a LinkedIn post on Monday that he is leaving after six years at the fintech arm of the tech giant. Without mentioning the specifics, he said he will now “embark on a new adventure”.

This marks a key senior exit at Google Pay. Kenghe was with Google for nearly 12 years.

“I’m incredibly proud of what we accomplished in the last six years, especially building Google Pay into India’s most seamless and trusted payments platform. And, great successes in Japan, Singapore, and Rest of APAC as well,” his post read.

Thanking his team at Google and Google Pay, he added, “This experience has solidified my belief in the power of technology to transform lives and economies. While I’m moving on to a new opportunity, I’ll continue to champion this cause.”
