GlobalLogic opens delivery centre in Hyderabad, to add 2k engineers in three years

Digital engineering firm GlobalLogic has launched a new delivery centre in Hyderabad where it is starting the operations with 600 engineers. The firm plans to expand its headcount for the centre to over 2,000 in three years, the company said in a statement.

This is the fourth centre launched by the Hitachi group company in the past nine months, as part of its growth and expansion strategy in APAC, added the statement. This scale-up is aimed at enhancing the company’s core engineering capabilities and delivering advanced digital engineering solutions across sectors like technology, healthcare, automotive, banking etc.

With this centre, GlobalLogic hopes to significantly ramp up its workforce in Hyderabad by tapping into the city’s vast engineering talent pool and focusing on new hires. As GlobalLogic recently acquired Mobiveil, a sizeable number of Mobiveil employees will also be stationed at this centre spanning 38,000 sq.ft.

Our recruitment efforts will target talent with expertise in software engineering, data analytics, cloud computing, and other new-age technologies, particularly in GenAI”, said Piyush Jha, managing director and head of APAC at GlobalLogic.
