startups funding: ETtech Deals Digest: Startups raise $96.3 million in week to January 25, down 51% on-year

This week, startups across seed and early stages secured funding through 30 deals, down from 36 during the same period last year, when the total funding reached $197 million, according to data intelligence platform Tracxn.

Top deals of the week:

Ati Motors: Autonomous industrial robotics startup Ati Motors raised $20 million in a Series B funding round led by Walden Catalyst Ventures and NGP Capital. Existing investors, including True Ventures, Exfinity Venture Partners, Athera Venture Partners, and Blume Ventures, also participated in the round.

Attentive AI: Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) startup Attentive AI closed its Series A2 funding round, raising the total Series A funding to $12 million across two tranches (A1 and A2). The A2 round was led by Tenacity Ventures, with participation from Vertex Ventures, Peak XV Partners, and InfoEdge Ventures.

Deconstruct: Direct-to-consumer (D2C) skincare brand Deconstruct raised around $7.5 million in funding from French cosmetics giant L’Oréal’s venture capital fund BOLD, V3 Ventures, and DSG Consumer Partners, with additional participation from existing investors Kalaari Capital and Beenext.

VuNet Systems: Digital transaction monitoring startup VuNet Systems raised $6.9 million in the first close of its Series B funding round led by Pravega Ventures. The round also witnessed participation from Kotak Securities Limited, a subsidiary of Kotak Mahindra Bank, alongside existing investors, such as Mela Ventures, Athera Venture Partners, Dallas Venture Capital, and TVS Capital Funds.
